Hong Kong Events - March 2027

March is Art March in Hong Kong and the month the city's cultural calendar is at its international best. Expect warm, humid days with a fair chance of mist over the harbour — and the biggest names of the year playing Kai Tak.

Kai Tak Stadium pulls three BTS nights at the start of the month, Art Basel Hong Kong takes over the harbourfront convention centre at the end of it, and the Easter long weekend rounds out a five-week run of things worth crossing town for.

💡 Practical Notes

  • BTS nights (4, 6, 7 March): Kai Tak Stadium empties onto the Tuen Ma line at once — leave the encore early or accept a long wait. Check MTR arrangements on the night.
  • Art Basel week: timed tickets sell out; the Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui is the pleasant way to reach Wan Chai.
  • Spring weather: warm and humid with morning mist and occasional rain — see the weather page and plan indoor attractions as a fallback.
  • Easter: one of the year's peak booking weekends — see hotels on Nathan Road.
